Description: 5200-foot elevation. eight RV sites & 11 tent sites near the Wild & Scenic North Fork John Day River. Trails from the campground lead into the North Fork John Day Wilderness. Stock loading ramps & other equestrian facilities are at the trailhead for those packing into the wilderness. Fishing in the river. Location: From Ukiah, go 39 miles south on the Blue Mountain Scenic Byway (Forest Road 52). Season: spring - fall. Reservations: NO.
