| Description: 1600-foot elevation. 15 campsites in the canyon carved by the Wild & Scenic Salmon River. Trailhead access from the end of the road to the Salmon-Huckleberry Wilderness. Fishing for steelhead in the river January one - March 31 & May 27 - December 31. Fishing for chinook salmon & adipose-clipped coho salmon from May 27 - December 31.
Location: From Sandy, go 16 miles east on US 26, then five miles south on Forest Road 2618.
Season: May 13 - September 5.
