| Blue Ridge Campground is a private, family-owned campground located along the Blue Ridge Mountains & is situated not far from the Appalachian Trail. The campground is the former Bake Oven Campground that got its name from the Bake Oven Knob , a rocky pinnacle located at the top of Blue Mountain near the Carbon-Lehigh county lines.
The campground is located in the western edge of the Pocono Mountains. We are close to Jim Thorpe, where there is rafting, bike trails, hiking & train rides. We are also close to Allentown, Lehighton & Tamaqua for sightseeing, amusement parks & shopping. Grocery shopping is a short ten minute drive. We also have a camp store for those forgotten items, snacks, ice cream, drinks, firewood, etc.
Blue Ridge has sites suitable for most size RV's. Sites include H2O, sewer, electric & cable. Pop up & tents have H2O & electric. All sites have picnic tables & fire rings. We offer seasonal as well as nightly, weekly or monthly sites. We also have organized activities, an annual pig roast, cook outs & assorted covered dishes, ceramics & Bingo every weekend. |
