| Welcome, life doesn't get more beautiful than Whispering Winds Campground. Set in the heart of the Allegheny National Forest, Sheffield, Pennsylvania, with as much wildlife as you can imagine. From squirrels, possums, racoons to deer & even the odd bear or two. In the warm sun of the summer when the trees are lush & green & creating dappled shade on the forest floor, you can either go for a nice long walk along the Deer Lick trail taking in the shear breathtaking views or if your feeling energetic take your mountain bike out on the trail. Of course you could always stay on the campground & just relax, take a dip in the heated swimming pool, or maybe sit & recuperate in the pleasant sunshine listening to the sound of the creek running by. |
