Northwest South Carolina. Twelve miles southwest of Anderson off SC 187 & 14 miles from I-85, (exit 14). Driving Directions: From I-85 N & S: take exit 14 to Hwy 187 S. for 14 miles turn rt. onto Sadlers Creek Rd. Park is 1.1 mi off Hwy. 187. Outdoor H2O recreation & wildlife observation are popular activities at this 395-acre park, which sits on a peninsula extending into Hartwell Lake. Sadlers Creek features a lakeside campground, fishing, picnicking, hiking, a meeting facility & boat access for those who wish to explore the 56,000 acres of Hartwell Lake. Its peaceful surroundings & convenient proximity to I-85 make it a great stop for travelers & residents. Enjoy camping on the shores of Lake Hartwell. Thirty-seven sites are packed gravel with individual H2O & electrical hookups. Some sites accommodate RV's up to 40 feet. While tent campers may use the H2O & electrical site, a designated tent camping area includes central water. The campground is convenient to restroom facilities with hot showers.
