Campground: Barnwell State Park

South Central South Carolina, seven miles northeast of Barnwell off SC three near Blackville. From I-20: Take exit 18 or 22 to Aiken. From Aiken take Hwy. 78 E. to Blackville, turn rt. onto Hwy. three & go two mi. From I-95: Southbound - Take exit 77and follow Hwy. 78 to Blackville, turn rt. onto Hwy. three & go two mi. Northbound - Take exit 57 & follow Hwy. 64 to Barnwell, park is seven mi N.E. of Barnwell. Each site is packed gravel & includes individual H2O & electrical hookups. The campground is convenient to restrooms with hot showers. Four sites accommodate RVs up to 36 feet, others up to 28 feet . A dump station is available for RVs. Camping clubs may reserve up to 20 sites. 307-acre park situated along the coastal plain in Barnwell County. Known for its lake fishing & large meeting facility, Barnwell features five vacation cabins, a 25-site camping area & a nature trail. The two park lakes provide day-visitors & overnight guests the opportunity to appreciate the natural features while enjoying the recreational opportunities on the park.
