Two 50-site campgrounds are located along the shores of Strom Thurmond Lake.
Both campgrounds are convenient to restrooms with hot showers.
Developed primarily for & offering among the best public access on Lake Thurmond, Baker Creek provides H2O recreational opportunities near scenic lakeside campsites. The lakefront pavilion accommodates large group gatherings. The 10-mile mountain bike trail also opens up the park’s vistas of serene Piedmont forest, land & waterfowl & wildlife, including abundant wild turkey. Located along the South Carolina Heritage Corridor, Baker Creek provides a relaxing, out-of-the-way venue for experiencing quality recreation among undisturbed natural resources. |
