Campground: Deer Mountain Campground
Where the west starts! The Deer Mountain Campground offers secluded camp sites, new showers & laundry facilities. Trail rides leave approximately every hour. The campground is located three miles from Lead, South Dakota on Highway 85 South, with on-site hiking trails in the trees. Sturgis, South Dakota, home of the Harley Davidson Rally, is an easy 18 miles from the campground. Doesn't matter what you ride, horses, "hogs" or mountain bikes we have a site for you!
