Many festivals take place throughout the year, beginning in March & ending in October. Ramp, Molasses, Maple, Fiddlers, Bluegrass & Fall Harvest festivals are the biggest attractions in the area.
Mt. Rogers Recreation Area & the Jefferson National Forest adjoin Grayson Highlands State Park to the north. Camping is available on the national forest (recommended by our park when it is full) as well as hiking, picnicking, hunting, fishing & beautiful mountain vistas for visitors to enjoy.
