Campground: Alta Lake State Park

Description: 181 acres on Alta Lake, at the eastern edge of the Cascades between the pine forests & the steppes. Glacially-carved Alta Lake offers good trout fishing, as well as waterskiing, sailboarding, windsurfing, swimming, jet-skiing, & other H2O sports. Two boat ramps each have 60 feet of dock space. A hiking trail explores the area. The campground has 168 tent sites & 32 with full RV utility hookup. The group campground can hold up between 20-88 people. The picnic area has one kitchen shelter. Location: From Pateros, go two miles west on WA 153, then two miles south on Alta Lake Road. Season: April one - October 31.
