| Description: 398 acres between the Puyallup tribal lands & the Puget Sound, including a long stretch of beach. 22 miles of hiking & biking trails tour the area. Boating, fishing, sailboarding, & swimming in the sound. The beach is a great place to spot numerous shore & sea birds, while inland forests shelter foxes, raccoons, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, owls, & quail.
Facilities include a large picnic area & a campground with 141 spaces, including 27 with full utility hookups. A group camping area can hold up to 100 people. Other facilities include an ampitheater for interpretive programs or group use.
Location: From I-5, south of Seattle, take exit #143, go four miles west on 320th Street, north onto 47th Street, then two miles west on WA 509 (Dash Point Road).
