Campground: Fay Bainbridge State Park

Description: 17 acres at the northern tip of Bainbridge Island, with views of Mount Rainier & the northern Cascades. Boating, fishing, waterskiing, sailboarding & diving in Puget Sound; clamming & crabbing on the beach. The campground has 36 sites, including 26 with full RV hookups. Primitive, boat-in only campsites are on the Cascades Marine Trail. A large picnic area also has a volleyball court & horseshoe pits. Location: From Poulsbo, go south on WA 305 across the Agate Pass Bridge. Once on the island, continue south three miles on WA 305, go two miles north on Day Road, then two miles west on Sunrise Drive NE. The park is also accessible from the Bainbridge Ferry, by going north on WA 305. Season: year round; gates close at dusk. Reservations: no.
