Campground: Ike Kinswa State Park

Description: 454 forested acres on Mayfield Lake, formed on the Tilton River by the Mayfield Dam. This destination is popular for waterskiing, sailboarding & jetskiing, also fishing for trout, silvers & tiger muskie. The dam flooded out a burial ground of the Cowlitz people, who originally inhabited this area. Many graves were moved, & the park is named for a Cowlitz leader. The campground has 103 sites, including 41 with full RV utility hookup. There is also a sizeable picnic area with a horseshoe pit. Location: From Mossyrock, go four miles north on Harmony Road (WA 122). Season: year round, gates close at dusk.
