| Description: 320 acres on a forested plateau by the Green River. The forest is home to numerous birds & mammals, some of whom you may glimpse while hiking on area trails or while on the river. Bird life includes herons, osprey, quail, owls, hummingbirds, & woodpeckers. Fishing in the river for steelhead or trout. For the adventurous, rafting or kayaking the class III-IV whitewater. Hand-launch only for boats. The campground has 40 sites, including 19 with full RV hookup. A tent-only group campground features three-sided shelters, & can hold up to 80 people.
Location: From Enumclaw, go one mile north on WA 169, turn right on SE 416 Street, then eight miles northeast on 292nd Avenue NE.
