| Description: 842 acres of old growth cedar & fir forest on Deep Lake. Trails for hikers & bikers wander through the woods, & the lake has swimming, boating, & good seasonal fishing for bass, bluegill, bullhead, catfish, perch, & trout. Fishing from the dock & swimming from the day use area. The park`s facilities were mostly constructed by the CCC & interpretive displays tell the story of the Depression-era construction.
The campground has 168 sites, including 48 with full RV utility hookups & a tent-only group area with a kitchen shelter which can hold between 20-40 people. The large picnic area has four kitchen shelters which can accomodate between 100-250 people. The largest one is reservable, but the others are available without reservations or a fee. The Millersylvania Environmental Learning Center can hold groups of up to 150 people & features a dining hall/kitchen, 19 cabins, two restroom/shower facilities, eight canoes, two rowboats, three ball fields, a volleyball court, a horseshoe court, an ampitheater, & a private swimming area.
Location: From Olympia, go eight miles south on I-5 to exit #95, then go two miles east on Maytown Road SW & one mile north on Tilley Road SW.
