Description: 24 miles along the North Fork Nooksack River, ending at spectacular Artist Point, in the Heather Meadows Area. Location: From Seattle, take I-5 north. Turn east on to WA 542 at Bellingham. The byway starts at milepost 30 on WA 542. The byway ends at Austin Pass. Season: year round. Fee: A Northwest Forest Pass is required at trailheads.
