Campground: Pearrygin Lake State Park

Description: 578 acres on Pearrygin Lake, in the Methow Valley. Fishing for trout in the lake, as well as swimming, boating, waterskiing, & jet skiing. A large shady lawn surrounds the lake, which brightens with wildflowers in the spring & summer. Commonly-seen wildlife include numerous marmots & songbirds. A Junior Ranger program is available for children. The campground has 83 sites, including 30 with full RV utility hookups & two primitive campsites. The picnic area also has two horseshoe pits, a bathhouse, a swimming beach, & barbeque stands. The weather in the summer is generally warm & sunny; most of the precipitation here falls during the extremely cold winter months. Location: From Winthrop go north about two miles on WA 20, which turns into East Chewuch Road, then turn east onto Bear Creek Road & go another two miles to where the pavement ends, then turn right onto the park access road. Season: April - November.
