| Description: 347 acres of old-growth forest on Admiralty Inlet, in Puget Sound. On clear days, there are fantastic views of the Olympic Mountains & the Puget Sound. Several miles of hiking trails wind through the forest. The tidelands here are great for crabbing & clamming. Interpretive programs are available on Saturdays throughout the summer, including a Junior Ranger Program
The campground has 45 tent-only sites, nine sites with full RV utility hookup, & a group area which can hold up to 100 campers. The campground is tucked into the lush foliage of the forest, but the group site is more open, with views to the west. A group shelter, which holds up to 30 people, is also available for day use.
Location: From Freeland, go seven miles north on Smugglers Cove Road.
