| Description: 288 acres high up in a forested canyon. At 4000 feet, this area receives lots of winter snow & is popular for sledding & cross-country skiing. The Mission ski area is nearby for downhill skiing. In the summer, several miles of trails tour the area, open to hikers & mountain bikers. Keep an eye out for area wildlife, such as badgers, deer, & even bears.
The campground (open in summer only) has 20 sites, & a group camp which can hold up to 160 people. The Event Hall is a rentable facility for groups up to 75, with a giant fireplace, fully-equipped kitchen, & picnic tables. Group picnicking is also available.
Location: From Wenatchee, go nine miles south on County Road 711 & Squilchuck Road.
