| Rainbow RV Resort on Tanwax Lake is nestled in the NW foothills of Mt. Rainier. We are a year-round full service RV park with great fishing facilities including a 170-foot handicap accessible dock & many other great amenities. We are also an excellent home base for many area attractions including NW Trek Animal Preserve, Mt. Rainier, the Elbe Steam Train, Pt. Defiance Zoo & Aquarium & more.
Proud Parents: Each year we raise 18,000 rainbow trout in our net pen. They are hand-fed & pampered until we release them before opening day the last weekend in April. On any visit to our park you may see deer grazing on the property, bald eagles flying about, an occasional heron, mink or otter around the lake & at night hear the wolves howling at NW trek |
