Campground: Target Meadows Campground

Description: 4800-foot elevation. 16 tent/trailer sites, four tent sites & a picnic area around a meadow. The Burnt Cabin Gulch trail leads from the campground down to the South Fork Walla Walla River, where a trail follows the river through the forest. The Target Meadows is a historical area from the late 1800`s. The US Cavalry stationed at Fort Walla Walla often held their shooting practice here. The Tollgate Visitor Center is near the intersection of OR 204, FR 64, & FR 6401. Location: From Weston, go 19 miles east on OR 204 then two miles north on Forest Road 64 & FR 6401.
