Campground: Umatilla Forks Campground
Description: 2400-foot elevation. 15 campsites between the South Fork & the North Fork of the Umatilla River. Fishing for trout is catch & release only- see regulations for additional restrictions. Hiking in the North Fork Umatilla Wilderness from early spring to late fall. Four nearby trailheads access different areas of the wilderness. Location: From Athena, go about six miles southwest on OR 11, 11 miles southeast on Spring Road, & 15 miles east on River Road (County Road 900/ Forest Road 32). Season: year round. Reservations: NO.
