Campground: Woodward Campground

Description: 4950-foot elevation.18 campsites & a picnic area in a forest with a view of Langdon Lake. A couple of miles south of the campground, a trailhead offers hiking & horse access to the North Fork Umatilla Wilderness. For those who want a scenic view of the Lookingglass drainage & surrounding plateau, Forest Road 64 climbs to the top of nearby Bald Mountain. On a clear day, you can see as far as the Seven Devils Mountains in Idaho. In the winter, this area is an extremely popular destination. East of Woodward on OR 204, is the Morning Creek SnoPark & the Spout Springs Ski Area. Snowmobilers, Nordic skiers, & downhill skiers all enjoy the groomed trails & backcountry recreation opportunities. Tollgate Visitor Center is located near the intersection of OR 204 & FR 64. Location: From Weston, go 18 miles east on OR 204. Season: year round. Reservations: NO.
