6500` elevation. 20 campsites along the Shoshone River. Camping is restricted to visitors with hard-sided campers only. No tents or pop-ups are allowed in these campgrounds due to grizzly bear activity. Two trailheads, one 1/2 mile east with corrals, that lead into the Washakie wilderness. Stay limit 14 days.
